For a Special Teacher ~ Stamp Shoppe DT Card

Whiff of Joy 2010 - Page 014

Happy Wednesday! The theme of my card for The Stamp Shoppe this week is “one for a teacher”. It is time to get all those teacher’s gifts made so that you aren’t rushing at the last moment! I have combined 3 stamps for my card using masking. I LOVE how it looks!

This card was made with my middle son’s teacher in mind. She is one of those super special teachers and we are lucky that so far she has taught two of our boys. Hopefully she will teacher my little guy too! I didn’t take a photo of the inside but it is decorated in the same papers and I created a little pocket to slip in a gift card for her.

  • Stamps: Magnolia: Tilda with Diary, Books, Slateboard, Sentiment by Verve stamps
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
  • Paper: SU Kraft and Chocolate Chip, MME DP
  • Coloring: Copic Markers
  • Embellies: Pearl Flourish by Prima, SU Ribbon

(edit: these stamps seem to be sold out over at The Stamp Shoppe at the moment)

Heidi has told me that the new Magnolia Ink magazine will be arriving in the next few days AND the Wedding Collection stamps are on their way! I’ll let you know as soon as they are available for you to snag! The Stamp Shoppe’s Special’s this month are:

June Special: 15%off 2009 Fortune and Graduation collection as well as the following flowers: gardenias, cherry blossoms, and shabby chic roses.

Use coupon code: june2010

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by! I am off to Costco with the wee one to stock up on supplies!

Hi Jeanette,

Wow, very nice card! Love the books she is sitting on, probably because I love books always, ha ha!! The sentiment is really nice, the frame splashes out! Must have been quite a job to vut it out, but I think it was worth it, because it works really, really well this way!! Love it!! Fabulous card!
Hope you'll have a wonderful day!

Big hug,
Wendy

Sorry ! I just realized it was a blackboard, not a window. Need to practice my english... Still, a stunning creation.
