Double Post and a New Video

Happy Thursday! I can’t believe that the week is almost over. In fact the last few weeks have been flying by………….we are so busy at the moment. I am finding it difficult to fit in time for my card-making.

Just to let you know that I have a new video -->here<—. In this one, I just go over the different copic marker styles and the advantages/disadvantages of each. I am basing these tutorials on the most common questions that I receive. I will cover paper and inks next and then I will start the coloring videos using my favorite marker combos.

Here is my first card for you. It is one of the new images from Whiff of Joy’s 1001 Nights Stamp Kit. I was totally taken with this image and had a blast coloring him up in rich and vibrant colors!

My second card features another Whiff of Joy image. This time from the Norma Fickel series of Spring Gnomes. I was inspired by these beautiful crocuses that opened up in my garden on Easter Sunday. What perfect timing and so special because it was my children that discovered them and it made me smile to see them so excited!

(I used my Copic ABS to color the thin ribbon that is woven into the lace ribbon…now it is a perfect match!)

This week the Product spotlight is "Easter”.  For the next two weeks any Easter-themed stamp will be on sale for 25% off. Make sure to check out the full listing in the Stamp and Create Store.

Thanks for stopping by!

I love both of these cards! The Nestability you used on the first one is perfect for that image!! And your flowers in your garden are so beautiful!! Great inspiration! I love your second card as well. What fun colors!! I will post this on the blog tomorrow...it's getting too late...I was a day behind all week since the kids were off on Monday...can't seem to catch up!
