Whiff of Joy PoM

Whiff Of Joy - Page 096 (1)

Hi Everyone! Today I have my Whiff of Joy Project of the month to show you. The theme for June is to create “something for Dad” and so I took this opportunity to make something for my hubby for Father’s Day. It is a mini photo album and inside I have some recent pictures of the boys and ourselves. Each boy also has his own two pages. One for a photo of just themselves and on the other side is a place for them to write a special message to their Dad. Of course the 3 year old made a whole bunch of circles and a “W” which is apparently his favorite letter of the alphabet . Funny how they latch onto a letter and prefer it to all others! He is however quite proud of his letter to Daddy! Now I don’t think my husband ever visits my blog so I think I am safe in showing you this before he actually receives it. In our family, we celebrate each other with gusto and so the stamps I used reflect this!

Here you can see the inside cover:Whiff Of Joy - Page 095

To create this book, I used the largest of the curved rectangle nestabilities to create the covers and pages. The covers were made with craft-a-board but you can use a sturdy cardboard instead. I bound it up using my Bind-it-all machine.

  • Stamps: Whiff of Joy Party Animal Collection, SU Sentiment(inside)
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
  • Paper: SU Red Riding Hood, Imaginisce DP
  • Coloring: Copic Markers
  • Embellies: SU Ribbon, Metal Charms from Dollar store

My fellow DT have all created their own special projects for Father’s Day. They are, as always, simply outstanding. You can view them here at the WOJ PoM Gallery.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a great day and perhaps get inspired to create something for that special father in your life.
