The Sweet Stop #8

Sweet N Sassy - Page 088

Hi Everyone. It looks like we are going to have another gorgeous, sunny day over here! Just sent the kids off to school slathered in sun screen. Only a few more days now until they are on Summer Vacation and they are barely able to contain themselves!

Today I have my card for this week’s Sweet Stop to show you. I used one of the new release sets In His Time for both the image and the sentiment. The butterfly was colored with Copics and then with Twinkling H20s and cut out and adhered just in the middle to the card. That way the wings fold up away from the card. The white panel was also stamped with the same butterfly image but this time using ink that matched the cardstock. I made the diamond grid on the embossed panel with my scor-pal and then lightly sponged over it.

  • Stamps: Sweet ‘n Sassy In His Time
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Almost Amethyst
  • Paper: SU Whisper White, Almost Amethyst
  • Coloring: Copic Markers, Twinkling H20s
  • Embellies: SU Ribbon

Thanks for stopping by. If you swing by The Sweet Stop, you can see the lovely cards my fellow DT sisters have made.

Have a wonderful day!
