High Hopes Challenge # 2

Here is the card I made for the High Hopes second challenge. You had to use blue, brown, green and any neutral. Well I have them all except I added some orange. Hope that is okay! I just love High Hopes stamps for birthday cards. Kids just love them! I colored the gold in the chest and then put on lots of gold stickles. It have lots of sparkle and twinkle now! I tried a little stitching. I think I am getting the hang of it now!

I had bought the map stamp and now I am so glad I did. It was only when I started to color it that I started to notice all the cool details. I kept the coloring here really soft because it is an old map, right? Then, with a moment of hesitation, I crumpled it up into a ball! Now it really looks old!
  • Stamps: All from High Hopes
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
  • Paper: SU! Kraft paper, Basic Grey Archaic
  • Coloring: Gamsol & Prismacolors, H20s
  • Embellies:SU! Brads. Stickles
Enjoy your day! At the moment, the workmen are putting up the walls in the extension and smashing the basement floor with a sledge hammer. Not the most relaxing sound I can assure you. I am off to take some pictures for the older boys to see. They miss it all while they are at school.
