Need A Hug? ~ Friday Sketchers Challenge # 14

Good Morning Everyone. As you can see, I played around a little with my blog design. I am seeing such gorgeous layouts on everyone else's and mine started to seem a little "blah". So I tried this out. Let me know what you think!

This week, Friday Sketchers had a really neat sketch. I needed to distress the paper my image was mounted on. This was a first for me. I looked at the DT's cards and figured I'd take the edge of my ruler to the paper. I think it looks the ways it is supposed to!!

I had fun with theis card. The inspiration is actually a little Band-Aid tin that I had altered with this cute Edwin. My little one is 3 and has spent half the summer asking for Band-Aids just because his older brothers have been getting them. He was delighted when he finally skinned his knee enough for there to be blood. He finally got his Band-Aid! So, I thought I'd also base my card on it as well. I think it is hard to tell, but the DP has images of bicycles and instead of ribbon and flowers, well, I used surgical gauze and Band-Aids!
